Spanx-ters Fostering Charitable Relationships

On Wednesday, July 25, Spanx-ters took advantage of an opportunity to work with the Foster Care Support Foundation again (with whom we worked on Prom-A-Palooza in February). Ready to do anything to help, the group sorted and organized hundreds of prom dresses, blankets and clothes so families can come in to ‘shop’ in order to fulfill the needs of these children. “There isn’t a single piece that stays if it isn’t something we would give to our own children,” said Erica, Director of Development for FCSF.

The SPANX volunteers were all so touched by the work of full-time Foster Care Support staffers, who just served their 30,000th child, that they’re all planning to make more donations which will surely keep them busy in the weeks ahead.

Our goal is to get out in the community to show our support for Atlanta and the great organizations enriching the lives of our neighbors. We’re proud to have spent two of our outings this year with Foster Cares.
