At Spanx, we think it’s time to celebrate the unconditional support. Those who lift us up—and never let us down. The firm hugs at every bump and curve…
That’s right—we’re talking about our MOMs!
Not only are our mothers our first (and arguably our most important) fashion influencers, they’re our fiercest and most unwavering supporters. Our #1 fans and go-to problem solvers. Our former (or maybe still current…) chauffeurs, chefs and seamstresses.
To celebrate all that our moms do for us, our team has gathered our favorite photos featuring our leading ladies (or our own little ones).
We’re still glowing from our latest store opening in sunny Tampa, Florida —Sara’s hometown! And now, we’re busy juggling two more Jiggle-Free Jubilees in Connecticut and Texas. That’s right—Westfarms in Hartford and NorthPark in Dallas are shaping up to celebrate the openings of their states’ first Spanx stores!
In true Spanx fashion, we’ll kick off our store openings with hosiery-cuttings and festivities, and we’d love to see you there!

Spanx stores offer all of our shapewear styles, plus the latest and greatest in bras, apparel, active wear, swimwear and our full assortment of men’s products. Our stores are complete with a Transformation Team, who are experts in fit and are trusted to find the perfect product to flatter and shape any fashion dilemma into a fashionista’s dream! On Wednesday, July 25, Spanx-ters took advantage of an opportunity to work with the Foster Care Support Foundation again (with whom we worked on Prom-A-Palooza in February). Ready to do anything to help, the group sorted and organized hundreds of prom dresses, blankets and clothes so families can come in to ‘shop’ in order to fulfill the needs of these children. “There isn’t a single piece that stays if it isn’t something we would give to our own children,” said Erica, Director of Development for FCSF.
The SPANX volunteers were all so touched by the work of full-time Foster Care Support staffers, who just served their 30,000th child, that they’re all planning to make more donations which will surely keep them busy in the weeks ahead.
Our goal is to get out in the community to show our support for Atlanta and the great organizations enriching the lives of our neighbors. We’re proud to have spent two of our outings this year with Foster Cares.
QVC Japan celebrated ‘America Day’ with a special Spanx TSV ‘Today’s Special Value’ of Higher Power & Power Panties with five shows, beginning at midnight on July 4th and ran through 11pm on the 4th.
There was a serious power play happening as the A and B sizes of Higher Power and Power Panties sold out. Our VP of Business Development, Misty Elliott, did a terrific job as Spanx spokesperson and kindly presented her own effective Before & After during the shows–just the way Sara has done in the U.S..
Kudos to QVC Japan for doing such a great job branding the set in such a Spanx-y way. It was really impressive and made an impact on the overall production. Sara also provided a special video message to the QVC Japan customers which really made an impact during the shows!
